A space for Murray YSAs and friends to gather, grow, connect, and become strengthened in Jesus Christ.
Matthew J. Grow is Managing Director of the Church History Department. He served as a general editor of the Joseph Smith Papers and Saints: The Story of the Church of Jesus Christ in the Latter Days, and most recently authored Jeffrey R. Holland: Witness of Christ.
Patrick and Melissa are the coauthors of Rooted: Centering Christ in Everything. Together, they explore how Latter-day Saints can experience the restored gospel not as a burden of endless expectations, but as the joyful good news of Jesus Christ’s redeeming grace. It is a Sunday evening, not our usual Thursday.
Come hungry. Dinner is at 6:30, classes start at 7:15, and the activity follows at 8:15. Gospel learning, life skills, and time to connect with friends old and new. Bring someone with you.
Murray YSAs and friends meet consistently — a home base for community, fellowship, and friendship.
Activities are designed to build faith, character, and the practical skills that strengthen a life of discipleship.
Spiritual experiences, friendships, service, learning, and personal support — all in one welcoming space.
People are known and welcomed. The Gathering Place is a home base where everyone has a seat at the table.
Faith and life skills are strengthened through gospel learning, mentorship, and life-building opportunities.
Members are invited to serve and lift others — to use their gifts to bless people around them.
