What is a YSA stake?
A YSA Stake is a group of congregations (called wards) for Young Single Adults — ages 18 to 35. The Murray YSA Stake covers six wards across the Murray, Holladay, Cottonwood, and Brighton areas.
Each ward meets on Sunday with people in your age range and neighborhood. During the week, the whole stake comes together for activities, devotionals, service, and the Gathering Place — so you have both a small "home" community and a big "extended family" community.

Not sure where you fit? No problem — tell us your address and age and we'll match you.
What to expect on Sunday
Arrive a few minutes early
Park, walk in, and someone will likely greet you at the door. If not, just ask anyone with a name tag — they'll get you settled.
Sacrament Meeting (60 min)
Hymns, the sacrament, and short talks from ward members. You don't need to participate in the sacrament — it's totally optional for visitors.
Sunday Class (50 min)
Either Sunday School (everyone together) or Relief Society / Elders Quorum (split by gender). Both are discussion-based.
Stay for lunch / hangouts
Most wards have something after — break-the-fast, FHE, or just an informal hangout. Stick around — that's where friendships start.
How to meet people quickly
Go to one weekday thing
Sunday is great, but real friendships form mid-week. Hit one Gathering Place event or ward activity in your first two weeks.
Bring (or be) a friend
If you have a friend in another ward, tag along to their activity. If not — say yes when someone invites you somewhere.
Join a committee or sport
Activities Committee, Service Committee, stake softball — three weeks in and you'll know a dozen people by name.
